Responsibilities
1. Assist in design (preferably with Inventor) of new test equipment for all products (RDU, TZT, IHT, EDS, etc.) 2. Develop standard test procedures and/or engineering verification procedures
3. Analyze, evaluate, and report test results
4. Increase test capability:
a. Equipment
b. Knowledge - train and mentor Test Technicians in new areas
5. Establish and maintain reliability schedule and database for assigned product line
6. Work with R&D Engineers and Application Engineers to understand and solve highly complex problems regarding testing
7. Perform test data analysis using test software (GlyphWorks, InField, etc.) to improve test efficiency and reliability
8. Discuss all aspects of test information with Engineers, Management, and/or customer
9. Ensure completion of test reports/projects and department goals as scheduled
10. Determine necessary information needed to understand the test request and design
improvements/concepts that are to be tested
11. Determine testing solutions including what instrumentation is needed to verify and validate design
modifications and new product development
12. Demonstrate how to utilize data acquisition settings and methods
13. Troubleshoot existing test equipment
14. Work with the Test Supervisor and Test Department personnel to strategically identify and expand our lab,
track, and field capabilities and resources
15. Provide input into budgeting and suggest new equipment for purchase
16. Other duties assigned by supervisor
