Responsibilities
- Manage the full care process from benefit investigation through medication delivery with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to patient satisfaction.
- Conduct benefit verifications and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely coordination and access to services.
- Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage, including out-of-pocket costs, prior authorization requirements, and appeal processes.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their representatives regarding the status of their care and access to therapy.
- Maintain knowledge of payer requirements, insurance trends, and reimbursement policies (including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans).
- Handle enrollments received via fax, phone, or electronic means, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Review patient records and forms for completeness and update systems accordingly.
- Answer inbound calls from patients, providers, and partners, aiming for one-call resolution.
