We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Tax Auditor to join a collaborative finance team in the cold storage and logistics industry. In this role, you'll manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts, handle day-to-day collections activity, and support credit operations with a respectful, solutions-oriented approach. Responsibilities

• Retrieve and organize trip-based income data from SAP and Excel spreadsheets
• Pull invoices from internal systems and follow up with vendors to collect missing documentation
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the state auditor to ensure no data gaps or overlooked items
• Analyze trucking income per trip and separate data appropriately for state reporting
• Manipulate and structure spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions including XLOOKUP, filtering, and pivot tables
• Review audit requirements and track vendor communications and document submissions
• Provide detailed and organized data summaries to support the audit process

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in finance, audit support, or accounts payable/receivable
• Hands-on experience with SAP; familiarity with Oracle is a plus but not required
• Excel skills—must be proficient with XLOOKUP, formulas, and advanced data organization techniques
• Experience working in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation environments
• Previous exposure to sales tax audits or compliance audits is highly desirable
• Excellent follow-up, organizational, and vendor communication skills
