We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. You'll work with a variety of precision measuring instruments and interpret complex technical documents to perform thorough inspections and maintain our commitment to excellence.
salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional and visual inspections of mechanical components.
- Utilize a range of precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and various gauges (thread, pin, height, etc.).
- Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
- Identify and report non-conforming parts or processes.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
