We are seeking a charge off specialist for one of our premier clients working on-site here in San Antonio, TX! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of charged-off accounts, comprehensive reporting, and the month-end reconciliation process. Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

• Monthly Charge Off Processing: Perform month-end balancing for all accounts designated for charge-off. Ensure all accounts are processed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and distribute a variety of monthly and quarterly reports for management and enterprise departments. Key reports include, but are not limited to, charge-off summaries, TDR (Troubled Debt Restructuring) performance, call report data, and bankruptcy dashboards.
• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of charged-off accounts to ensure data integrity across all systems. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Financial Institution Experience: A minimum of [Insert Number] years of experience working within a financial institution is required.
• Knowledge of Operations: A general knowledge of financial institution organization and operations is essential.
• Reporting Expertise: Proven experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, particularly those related to loan portfolios, charge-offs, and bankruptcies.
