Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and process credit card orders to ensure funds are secured prior to releasing for fulfillment.
- Manage and process orders in the above credit limit viewer to ensure new orders are not released for customers with past due balances.
- Assist with contacting customers with outstanding balances due to declined credit cards and disputed credit card charges (chargebacks).
- Research, resolve and reconcile any payment discrepancies reported by customers.
- Be part of the team in the phone queue for customers, fielding calls regarding payment declines, discrepancies, payment issues, etc.
- Lead the freight analysis process by preparing and analyzing the weekly freight data to verify all freight incomes and expenses are posted in the correct general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies between expecting and actual costs, and working across multiple departments to ensure discrepancies are resolved.
- Process sales tax exception certificate from customers as well as sales tax refunds as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or general accounting, required.
- Experience in analyzing large volumes of data using intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel techniques.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, required.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within NetSuite is a plus.
