In this position, you'll be instrumental in developing and optimizing analytical methods, preparing diverse samples, and performing advanced LC-MS and Spectroscopy analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in a collaborative, lab-based environment where you'll work with cross-functional teams to design experiments and troubleshoot challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in method development and diverse sample preparation for LC-MS analysis.
- solid understanding of chemical analysis techniques and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with environmental chemistry and biological sample analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- solid communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for the detection and quantification of active ingredients and their metabolites in complex matrices.
- Prepare samples from environmental sources, microbial cultures, and plant matrices for analysis.
- Develop automated workflows to streamline end to end workflow.
- Operate and maintain liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) instruments, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Analyze data generated from LC-MS and interpret results in the context of project objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and troubleshoot analytical challenges.
- Document experiments, methodologies, and findings in accordance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Stay current with advancements in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
