Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, playing a key part in preparing our external filings and driving operational improvements. Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and supporting schedules/disclosures with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- SEC Reporting: Lead the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and annual reports, along with related press releases.
- Accounting & Analysis: Prepare and own complex journal entries and accruals. Ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Reconciliations & Variance Analysis: Perform timely and accurate account reconciliations, including variance resolution and completeness reviews. Proactively analyze trends and partner with other teams to investigate variances.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate globally and cross-functionally with various finance and operational teams, identifying key stakeholders and leading discussions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency within the reporting and consolidations process.
- Special Projects: Lead special projects and prepare executive-ready presentations for senior management.
- Technical Accounting: Research and interpret recently issued accounting standards and review competitor disclosures.
