We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and paid on time. This role requires advanced organizational skills, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.

salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from receipt of invoices to payment processing.
  
  
• Receive, verify, and process a high volume of invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  
  
• Match purchase orders to invoices and enter data into the accounting system.
  
  
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, as well as reconcile vendor statements.
  
  
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files.
  
  
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and account reconciliations.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  
  
• Support the finance team with special projects and audits as needed.
