Responsibilities
- Account Management: Developing and maintaining positive customer relations, coordinating with internal functions to handle customer requests.
- Purchasing Support: Create, issue, and track purchase orders. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Order Processing: Processing customer orders, providing confirmation receipts, estimated ship dates, order status, credit card orders, and RMAs. Inputting customer orders into the ERP system and updating customers.
- Sales Support: Assisting and supporting Sales team members in selling products/services, assessing customer needs, discussing opportunities internally, assisting in closing sales and placing orders. Supporting regional sales managers with updates to keep opportunities current and accurate.
- Inventory Reconciliation: collaborate with sales and warehouse operations to review stock levels and proactively avoid shortages.
- Order Tracking/Status: Providing order status and backlog reports, tracking key customer activity, and providing continual feedback to customers.
- Administrative Assistance: General administrative office activities such as filing, copying, records maintenance, typing, word processing, faxing, mail distribution. Providing administrative support and assistance as needed.
- Liaison Role: Acting as a liaison between sales and corporate administration, resolving problems, and ensuring accurate and timely information distribution.
