Responsibilities
- Manage 50-100 legal cases, serving as the primary client contact via phone and writing, providing monthly status reports and regular updates.
- Act as a client advocate and liaison between clients and attorneys, explaining the probate process and legal documents.
- Maintain meticulously organized electronic and hardcopy case files, tracking progress via online dockets, and responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Conduct legal and genealogical research, interviewing clients, and understanding succession law.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support: word processing, client agreements, and ordering records from county clerks.
- Manage all mail and shipping (USPS, FedEx), including tracking, distribution, and bank deposits.
- Maintain e-filing, cloud storage, copying, and scanning systems, and assemble client folders.
- Serve as suite safety officer and coordinate with vendors for office needs.
- Implement best practices, meet deadlines, and contribute to an organized and efficient work environment, including updating SOPs.
