customs compliance coordinator.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customs Compliance Coordinator for a 6-month temporary contract. In this role, you will work closely with the Customs Advisor and Warehouse team to ensure the business operates in full compliance with US foreign trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HTS classification, import/export procedures, and a mandatory "compliance-first" mindset. This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday.

salary: $26 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Customs and Trade Compliance: Actively support and contribute to all operational compliance activities related to US foreign trade, including both import and export processes.
  
  
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure all customs-related documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  
  
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Customs Advisor, Warehouse team, and other departments to resolve customs issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
  
  
• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain a strong "customs compliance mindset," staying up-to-date with changes in import/export regulations and ensuring all activities align with these standards.
  
  
• Reporting: Utilize various computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, to manage data and support compliance reporting.
