A client of ours in the insurance industry located in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This candidate must be positive, customer focused, and hard-working and looking for a long-term opportunity. salary: $43,000 - $45,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Provides daily service to and builds relationships with clients by managing phone calls and emails in a timely manner and attending meetings
• Documenting correspondence, following up for necessary information updates, and keeping the client files organized and up to date.
• Maintaining agency management database with current information and ordering corrections when necessary
• Preparing renewal files for renewal process and updating proof of insurance, order loss runs, and summary of insurance
• Providing assistance with employee benefits insurance, quoting, creating presentations, on-going customer service, answering benefit questions, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA and related laws
• Processing enrollment changes with carriers and responding to client and carrier phone calls and emails.
