This company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift manufacturing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily production, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring products are delivered to the highest standards. This person will be responsible for guiding and motivating the production team to achieve daily goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year

work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the production staff to ensure they meet daily production targets and schedules.
• Maintain quality standards and safety by ensuring everyone follows food safety rules (GMPs), safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure the production line is running smoothly and efficiently, meeting targets for output and minimizing waste.
• Manage equipment changeovers and setups quickly to reduce downtime and keep production flowing.
• Enforce safety rules, conduct regular safety checks, and hold safety meetings.
• Collaborate with other departments like Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, and Sanitation to quickly fix any production or equipment problems.
• Keep accurate records of production data, downtime, labor, and material usage.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork among the production staff.
• Help investigate issues with product quality or performance and implement solutions.
• Support new employee training and cross-training to build a flexible and adaptable workforce
