You'll lead a small team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role involves managing relationships with banks, external partners, and church committees, providing financial guidance and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities also include working directly with the board of directors and feeling comfortable providing the financials to the team!
salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the day to day activities of the accounting team to include general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and related functions
- Serve as a financial advisor to executive board
- Prepare financial trends, risks and opportunities
- Lead and assist annual budgeting process
- Budget to actual analysis
- Manage month end and year end financial close
- Lead audit
- Oversee banking relationships
- Track and report insurance renewals, premiums, claims
- Partner with church leadership and ministry directors
- Excellent communication with team and church members
