Our San Antonio office is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Clerk to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of all mail and packages. This is a vital role in a fast-paced environment, requiring someone who can manage a variety of tasks, from sorting and scanning correspondence to preparing outgoing shipments and performing interoffice deliveries. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with keyboarding and communication skills.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages to various departments.
  
  
• Process mutual correspondence, which includes scanning transactions.
  
  
• Prepare outgoing mail, correspondence, and overnight packages.
  
  
• Accept deliveries from couriers and vendors throughout the day and perform scheduled interoffice deliveries.
  
  
• Maintain daily document storage and track items using package tracking software.
  
  
• Operate mail metering equipment for shipping labels.
  
  
• Perform daily equipment and system startups.
  
  
• Conducting quality reviews of mailing labels and outgoing documents.
  
  
• Updating items within system and maintaining activity reports.
