We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk. This role involves processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Invoice Processing

• Match purchase orders (POs), goods received notes (GRNs), and vendor invoices (3-way match)
  
  
• Enter invoice data into the accounting or ERP system
  
  
• Verify pricing, quantities, and receipt of goods/services
  
  

2. Vendor Communication

• Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing documentation, or payment issues
  
  
• Request and file vendor statements and confirmations
  
  

3. Payment Processing

• Prepare and process vendor payments (checks, ACH, wire)
  
  
• Ensure payments are made according to agreed terms
  
  
• Monitor due dates to avoid late fees or early payment penalties
  
  

4. Freight & Logistics Invoice Review

• Audit freight bills, delivery charges, and logistics invoices
  
  
• Verify freight costs against contracts or shipping terms
  
  

5. Reconciliation & Reporting

• Reconcile accounts payable balances with vendor statements
  
  
• Assist in month-end closing and accruals
  
  
• Generate AP reports as needed (e.g., aging reports)
  
  

6. System & Record Maintenance

• Maintain accurate and organized vendor files (digital or physical)
  
  
• Ensure documents are retained for audits and compliance
  
  
• Update and maintain vendor records in ERP or accounting software
