Responsible for supporting Captiva Spine purchasing and operational material movement activities. Will interface with Customer Support, Sales, Engineering and Quality to ensure timely execution of the companies purchasing requirements. Support effective material movement throughout operations including order fulfillment, return processing, product labeling,

Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:

Buyer Function (approximately 50% of time)

• Utilizing existing planning systems and requests from internal departments, issue purchase orders to suppliers for both direct

and indirect materials.

• Maintain a high level of communication with suppliers and expedite product as required.

• Assist the Supply Chain Manager with purchasing/operational work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOP).

• Complete projects and tasks in a professional and flexible manner consistent with corporate objectives.

• Order Fulfillment

• Pick orders, record lot number.

• Process inventory transactions in inventory management system.

• Process outbound shipments including packaging and shipping.

• Provide customer service assistance with inquiries (i.e. tracking packages, providing shipment

details/documents, etc.)

• Field Returns and Servicing

• Receive surgical instruments and implant trays from field returns.

• Process received items via transactions in the inventory management system.

• Clean returned instruments and kits according to established operating procedures.

• Product Labeling

• Printing and storage of labels.

• Labeling finished products.•
