Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with city, county, and state agencies
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory offices to ensure timely approvals
- Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and compliance documents
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively renew permits to avoid delays
- Communicate permit status updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Research codes, zoning requirements, and regulatory changes that impact projects
- Provide administrative support for construction or development projects as needed
- Previous experience in permitting, construction administration, or regulatory coordination
- Familiarity with local permitting processes, codes, and compliance requirements
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills — able to manage multiple applications at once
- Excellent communication skills for working with municipalities, contractors, and internal teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with permitting software is a plus
- Ability to read/interpret site plans, blueprints, or construction documents preferred
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot permit delays or discrepancies
