- 3-5 years high volume collections experience in a corporate setting.
- Knowledge of medical billing and collection procedures.
- Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
- Data entry skills and phone/email etiquette
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Achieving collection targets by actively pursuing past-due payments.
- Providing outstanding customer support for all billing and collection inquiries, including managing refunds, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Ensuring data accuracy by regularly updating customer records from various reports and communications.
- Proactively reducing account delinquency for your assigned accounts.
- Strategically collaborating with sales, account management, and senior leadership to expedite complex collections.
- Developing and implementing collection strategies, including tracking delinquent accounts and issuing formal notices.
- Compiling and presenting detailed weekly and monthly reports on accounts 60+ days past due.
- Utilizing diverse communication channels (phone, email, mail) to engage with customers regarding overdue balances.
- Clearly communicating outstanding amounts and payment expectations to customers.
- Reviewing and understanding insurance and Medicaid policy terms.
- Approaching customer interactions with professionalism and empathy to find viable payment solutions while assessing debt collectibility.
