Responsibilities
- Assembly and Manufacturing: Assembling products or components by hand or with the use of tools, following detailed work instructions or blueprints.
- Quality Control: Inspecting products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and reporting any issues to a supervisor or team leader.
- Material Handling: Moving and organizing materials and products, which can involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. This might also include using equipment like a forklift if certified.
- Following Safety Procedures: Strictly adhering to all company safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards.
- Documentation: Completing production reports, logs, or other forms to track progress, quality, and material usage.
- Packaging and Labeling: Preparing finished products for shipment by packaging, boxing, and applying labels.
