We're looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Lincolnton, NC. This is a crucial, newly created role that will provide essential support and act as a backup for our financial operations. You'll work closely with our financial team including virtual collaboration with our German colleagues.  Medical/Dental/Vision and PTO starts Day 1 of Employment. This is an onsite Role and talent must reside and be able to drive to work, although hours are nogotiable.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning

• Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including cash flow analysis, profit and loss assessments, and cost accounting to support sound business decision-making.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Control

• Manage product costing in collaboration with the Sales Team to ensure accurate pricing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Oversee cost center accounting, including the calculation of cost rates in the ERP system and the analysis of cost center deviations; implement corrective actions and optimization strategies where needed.
• Perform monthly inventory valuations, variance analyses, and evaluate inventory losses, overages, and shortages to improve inventory control systems.
• Support and participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy and audit readiness.

Sales & Pricing Analysis

• Analyze sales behavior, market data, and customer purchasing patterns to identify trends and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market competitiveness.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Create and automate advanced Excel reports using pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA for efficient data analysis and presentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and consolidate data for use in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
