Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Patient Intake: Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, take and record vital signs, and document patient history and chief complaints.
- Assisting Physicians: Prepare patients for examinations, assist with in-office procedures, and provide support to the physician as needed.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), administering injections, and collecting lab specimens.
- Accurately chart patient information, update medical records, and ensure all data is correctly entered into the EHR system.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment, sanitize exam rooms and equipment, and adhere to all HIPAA and safety protocols.
- Scheduling: Manage patient appointments, schedule follow-up visits, and coordinate with specialists.
- Front Office Support: Answer phones, manage patient inquiries, and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Proficiently use our EPIC system to manage patient data, prescriptions, and lab results.
