A well-established law firm in Daytona Beach is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior bookkeeping/accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a professional office setting.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  
  
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial ledgers
  
  
• Process payroll and maintain employee records
  
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  
  
• Track client trust accounts in compliance with legal and ethical standards
  
  
• Collaborate with attorneys and office staff to support day-to-day financial operations
  
  
• Assist with audits, budget preparation, and financial analysis as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience; law firm experience strongly preferred
  
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Office Suite
  
  
• strong knowledge of GAAP and trust account compliance requirements
  
  
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
