- 5–10 years of general accounting experience within a large, international business.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, and experience operating within established accounting/reporting frameworks.
- Proven expertise in monthly close processes and financial reporting.
- Prior experience working with integrated ERP systems—QAD experience is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar) and/or professional certifications (CPA, CMA).
- Experience in a shared services model, particularly involving outsourced service providers.
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks (e.g., ICRF).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across geographic, cultural, and time zone differences.
- Experience coaching or leading cross-functional accounting teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior lead supporting SSC, business units (BU), and outsourced service provider teams.
- Provide accounting guidance, training, and oversight to SSC and service provider staff.
- Act as a primary accounting point of contact for internal customers, ensuring high levels of customer service and communication.
- Drive and manage the monthly close process, including journal entry approvals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, income tax provisions, and reporting deliverables.
- Oversee preparation and review of financial reporting packages (Magnitude), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax, treasury, and regulatory filings through service provider support and quality reviews.
- Maintain compliance with internal control frameworks (e.g., ICRF) and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
- Collaborate on SSC and BU initiatives, customer-sponsored projects, and process improvement efforts.
- Support audit processes and respond to financial/tax auditor requests.
- Provide expertise on accounting systems and technical issues, guiding service providers on exception handling and process deviations.
