We are looking for a detail-oriented ADA Specialist to join our team in Maitland, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring our commitment to an inclusive and accessible environment for all. You'll play a key role in supporting our team members by managing accommodations and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of the interactive process for employee accommodation requests under the ADA, including intake, documentation, and implementation of reasonable accommodations.
•  Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support throughout the accommodation process.
• Ensure all accommodation practices and procedures comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as AdventHealth's internal policies. You'll stay current on legal requirements and best practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing ADA accommodations and the interactive process.
• strong knowledge of federal and state disability laws, particularly the ADA.
