We have an immediate opening for a skilled Accounts Receivable/Payroll Specialist to become a key member of our finance team. This is a stable, 30-35 hour per week role with a unique career path and the potential to grow into Human Resources.

In this critical role, you will manage our project accounting cycle, including preparing monthly AIA billings, handling collections, processing payroll, and preparing costing reports. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction billing and payroll. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with Job Boss software and a Notary certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing monthly AIA billing and related reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation 
• Manage and monitor accounts receivable aging and contact contractors regarding payments
• Record and post incoming deposits
• Set up new jobs/record all change orders
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any issues
• Prepare monthly Costing Reports
• Obtain and maintain all Certificates of Insurance with our General Contractors
• Possibility to grow into Human Resources responsibilities
