Are you known for your meticulous attention to the details, ability to handle a high volume of tasks, and your focus on the task at hand?  Do you have a knowledge of accounting and are good with finding discrepancies? This Banking Operations Data Processor position is working within the financial operations space for a reputable, sought after, national insurance company.  You will be accountable for completing approximately 100 tasks a day related to incoming and outgoing checks.  You must be comfortable moving between different software systems and databases, be well versed in Excel, and enjoy researching and hitting deadlines.  Your days will fly by! Training will be 100% onsite.  After training you will be in the office Mon-Thurs and work from home on Friday each week.

Responsibilities

Support a large, national insurance company in their high-volume check processing operations department

• Input information from a variety of sources into multiple databases (SAP, Peoplesoft, Fidelity, etc) meeting standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness
• Perform check copy requests for multiple divisions nationally
• Assist with the incoming AP Sundry refund check process
  • Follow the review items received
  • Log the items into the excel tracker
  • Research and send out emails requesting general ledger coding
  • Prepare the checks for deposit
• Train onsite
• After training, Monday-Thursday in office, Friday work from home
