Responsibilities
As our Safety Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for all things safety. You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular facility inspections and risk assessments.
- Leading safety training sessions for new and existing employees.
- Investigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate safety records and ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Promoting a strong, positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- OSHA 30 certification ♂️— This is a must-have for the role.
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in a safety-related position.
- A deep understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
salary: $45,000 - $52,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work areas, tools, and equipment. Knowledge
of forklift operations is necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of our fire extinguishers.
Work with our local fire department and fire extinguishers provider when inspections are
due/completed.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate and lead safety training sessions and safety meetings.
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports with corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Maintain records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training activities.
Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
Promote employee awareness and involvement in the safety program.
Collaborate with management and employees to improve workplace safety.
Complete any customer risk management assessments required by our customers.
Communicate with temporary staffing agencies regarding the need for temporary work to hire
employees. Work with temporary staffing agencies through initial interview to employment
transition.
