As a member of our team, you will report to the Head of Litigation and be assigned to a Senior Trial Attorney. You'll handle a dynamic caseload and play a key role in advocating for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury cases from intake to resolution, including discovery, motions, and depositions.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in trials, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a valid license to practice law in Kentucky.
- 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Plaintiff-side background is a must.
- While trial experience is preferred, we will consider candidates who have handled cases up to the trial stage.
- Bonus points if you have experience in medical malpractice or commercial trucking accident cases.
- Base salary of $100,000 for candidates with 3-5+ years of experience. We may consider a higher salary for more experienced candidates.
- Candidates with little to no experience may be considered with a starting salary of $55,000.
- A laptop will be provided.
- Billable hour requirements are reasonable and not extraordinary.
