Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Controller and Director of Finance to handle core accounting processes and support
strategic financial planning.
2. Monitor and record manufacturing-related costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
3. Maintain accurate inventory valuation and perform periodic reconciliations to ensure inventory integrity.
4. Prepare profitability analyses by product, customer, or business unit to support business strategy and pricing
decisions.
5. Support general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, and maintain proper
coding and documentation in the ERP system.
6. Prepare and post journal entries, including one-time and recurring entries related to inventory, standard costs
and adjustments to other accounts.
7. Participate in monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, including the preparation of required schedules and
reconciliations.
8. Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate cost and financial documentation.
9. Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls related to inventory, costing, and financial accuracy.
10. Work within the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 14) to manage accounting data, perform
reconciliations, and generate reports.
11. Participate in cross-functional projects focused on financial planning, continuous improvement, and
operational efficiency.
12. Perform other accounting duties and assignments as needed to support overall business objectives.
