Responsibilities
- Prepares and posts both recurring and ad-hoc journal entries.
- Performs detailed analysis of trial balances, accounts, and financial data.
- Completes account and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Analyzes revenue, cost of sales, and operating expense trends and prepares related accruals.
- Performs inter-company balance reviews and reconciliations.
- Manages fixed asset accounting, including reconciliation to the fixed asset subledger and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
- Analyzes physical inventory variances and generates reports for management.
- Assists with month-end close and consolidation processes, cash management, audit preparation, and company merger and acquisition activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
- At least three (3) years of strong experience in an accounting role.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creativity and outside-the-box thinking are a definite plus.
- CPA and public accounting firm experience preferred.
