Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight & Strategy: Direct all accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, trust/IOLTA). Steer the firm's financial strategy through meticulous budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Deliver actionable financial insights to leadership to guide business decisions.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Uphold the firm's financial integrity by developing and enforcing rigorous internal controls. Ensure absolute compliance with IOLTA, tax, and payroll regulations, and act as the principal contact for external auditors.
- Leadership & Process Improvement: Lead and develop the accounting department staff, promoting a culture of excellence. Provide financial guidance and training firm-wide. Spearhead financial system modernizations and process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy. Manage vendor payment cycles and relationships.
