Responsibilities
- Managed a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, consistently providing first-call resolution by assessing caller needs and concerns.
- Processed accurate referrals and applications while adhering to updated policy and procedural changes.
- Coordinated with patient and physician referral sources to investigate and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintained patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial, ensuring a supportive and empathetic experience throughout the entire process.
- Captured detailed information in a proprietary software system while engaging with patients and other callers.
- Reported adverse events and complex issues in compliance with regulatory timeframes.
- Prioritized multiple, concurrent assignments to maintain productivity and urgency.
