Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the patient access team, aligning their work with revenue cycle goals.
- Optimize the electronic health record (EHR) system, focusing on scheduling, registration, and financial workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, including the No Surprises Act and Price Transparency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as registration accuracy, patient satisfaction, and financial metrics.
- Supervise a diverse team of specialists, including schedulers and financial counselors.
- Oversee financial and administrative duties, including data capture, collections, and budget management.
- Handle complex cases and provide expertise on high-cost drug processes.
- Train staff on managed care concepts and payer relations.
- Support Inpatient Admissions with benefit verifications, authorizations, and financial counseling.
