Responsibilities
- Prepare and File Tax Returns: Prepare accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns, including income, sales, and property taxes.
- Tax Planning and Strategy: Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to identify tax-saving strategies and minimize tax liability for clients or the company.
- Financial Record Analysis: Review and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Audit and Compliance Support: Assist with internal and external tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities and providing necessary documentation.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients or internal departments, addressing questions and providing guidance on tax-related matters.
