This is more than just a desk job. You'll work directly with our outside sales rep, serving as the strategic engine behind our growth in the market. Your primary mission is to deliver exceptional value to our customers, driving revenue and maximizing profit by becoming a true expert on our products.
You'll spend your days building relationships, crafting persuasive sales proposals, and ensuring our customers get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a sales role, with experience in the construction, distribution, or building products industries highly preferred.
If you're ready to take ownership of a critical sales role and help us exceed our targets, we want to hear from you. **BASE SALARY IS ~$45-50K** with commission, bonus, and profit sharing, you can expect your FIRST year total comp package to be around $60-70K. There is also UNCAPPED COMMISSION so the sky is the limit! The essentials:

Responsibilities
- Drive Proactive Engagement: Proactively connect with customers daily via phone, text, and email. Your goal is to build rapport and anticipate their needs, not just react to them.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with new and repeat customers, becoming their trusted point of contact.
- Manage Your Pipeline: Accurately maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts in the CRM to ensure a seamless sales process.
- Own the Order Process: Secure, receive, and accurately enter customer sales orders, working with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery.
- Consult and Educate: Educate customers on how specific building materials can provide them with a clear return on their investment.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed your sales goals by selling our full range of building products.
- Be a Market Expert: Stay current on competitors, new products, and market conditions within the building materials industry.
- Support Field Sales: Travel as needed with the outside sales representative for face-to-face meetings with key customers and prospects.
