Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices through the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payments in a fast-paced environment.
- Verify and process electronic documents from vendors, leveraging automated systems to streamline workflows.
- Review all invoices for proper documentation and digital approvals before payment is scheduled.
- Conduct meticulous three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
- Maintain and update accounts payable records including reports, spreadsheets, and files using cloud-based and digital tools.
- Act as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies quickly to maintain positive business relationships.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliation, utilizing software to identify and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain and procurement teams to address and resolve any invoice or inventory-related discrepancies.
- Analyze current accounts payable processes and recommend improvements, focusing on opportunities for automation and best practices.
- Assist with all month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
