We're seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our family practice in Sandy Springs, GA. You'll be responsible for the accurate and timely billing of patient visits, procedures, and services. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in medical billing and accounts receivable, EPIC experience, revenue cycle experience and must be highly organized with a reliable work ethic. A professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

• Claims Submissions: Prepare and submit accurate electronic and paper claims to all insurance payers.
• Claims Denial Management: Research and resolve denied claims to ensure proper payment.
• Payment Posting: Accurately post all insurance and patient payments.
• Patient Inquiries: Answer patient questions about balances and billing statements.
• Charge Capture & Review: Review and audit charges to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Insurance Benefit Verification: Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits before services are rendered.
• Proven experience in medical billing.
• Knowledge of billing software and medical coding (CPT, ICD-10).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
