Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Support Analyst Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding financial accuracy and policy compliance, with a focus on audit support and claims management. This position requires an individual with integrity, discretion, and a firm grasp of HIPAA regulations and confidential information
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: At least two years of experience in healthcare billing, focusing on private insurance and/or federally funded programs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word processing, and practice management software. Experience with State billing portals is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Audit Support: Handle the data entry of backup documents for audits, assist with auditor inquiries, and process refunds to payors as needed.
- Payment Processing: Process cash transfers and check requests for audits.
- Claims Management: Review and interpret insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to ensure accurate payment application.
- Credit Resolution: Review credit balances for appropriate application, resolution, and refund processing.
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicate with payor sources to resolve payment issues and address questions from operations and business centers regarding revenue and and aging reports.
- Cash Application: Work with unapplied cash and complete necessary cash transfers.
- File Management: Maintain proper filing procedures for completed cash batches by scanning all closed batches and saving them to the shared drive
