Responsibilities
- Employee Data Management:
- Maintaining and updating employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of all employee information, including personal details, compensation, and performance data.
- Processing new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.
- Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
- Assisting with the posting of job openings on various platforms (job boards, company website, social media).
- Scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
- Preparing new hire paperwork and pre-boarding materials.
- Conducting initial new hire orientation sessions.
- Benefits and Payroll Administration Support:
- Assisting employees with benefits enrollment questions.
- Responding to basic payroll inquiries from employees.
- Employee Relations and Communication:
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and HR programs.
- Distributing company-wide communications, such as policy updates or announcements.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of employee events and recognition programs.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Assisting with the preparation of HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover rates).
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintaining and filing confidential documents according to legal and company standards.
