Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and services necessary for production, adhering to strict quality and compliance standards.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluating performance and identifying new, reliable sources.
- Process purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and resolve any issues with suppliers or shipments.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to understand material needs and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including pricing, contracts, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations (like FAR/DFARS) and internal company policies.
