As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will manage our company’s finances with precision and integrity, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the entire accounting cycle. You will report directly to leadership and play a critical role in providing the financial insights needed for smart business decisions. This is a project that will last around 2 weeks BUT could be a good opertunity to get a foot in the door with a great company!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

A full charge bookkeeper handles a wide range of financial activities, including:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing invoices and managing outstanding payments. 
• Bank & General Ledger Reconciliations: Ensuring that bank records and the company's general ledger match. 
• Financial Statement Preparation: Creating key financial reports for internal and external use. 
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing quarterly tax returns. 
• Month-End Closings: Managing the process to close out financial records for the month. 
• Asset Tracking: Monitoring fixed assets and calculating depreciation. 
• Auditing Support: Conducting regular internal audits and assisting with external audits. 

The essential functions of this role include:
