Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Support Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 100% in-office position. The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-starter with a background in accounts receivable, particularly within the wholesale/distribution industry. You will be responsible for managing and collecting payments, ensuring the accuracy of all transactions, and providing critical support to our finance department.
salary: $48,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Payment Management: Process and apply customer payments from various sources, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Collections: Proactively contact customers to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reconciliation & Analysis: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, analyze aging reports, and investigate any payment-related issues.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on cash receipts and collections status.
- Customer Relations: Maintain professional and effective communication with customers to ensure timely payments and resolve billing disputes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to current AR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, with a preference for experience in the wholesale/distribution industry.
