This is a fully onsite position in St. Louis, MO. Local candidates preferred as relocation cost reimbursement is not available.

Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological analyses on a variety of microbial species to support internal research studies.
- Develop and refine protocols for Colony Forming Unit (CFU) quantitation and other microbiological techniques.
- Perform viability and stability assays following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Process diverse sample types for microbial recovery and cultivation across multiple media types.
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate experimental data and findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Experience with microbial culturing, aseptic techniques, and microbial quantification methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols accurately.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
