Randstad is searching for an Accounting/Procurement Specialist to be a vital part of the daily operations for a distribution center located in Millington, TN. You would be managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor relationships, responsible for tracking financial data, performing month-end accruals, and ensuring smooth procurement processes. Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor invoice entry and customer payment processing.
  
  
• Monitor account profitability, issue customer invoices, and approve supplier invoices.
  
  
• Log all financial transactions into our database and prepare batches for management approval.
  
  
• Manage transactions involving inter-company and foreign-agent accounts, and communicate with overseas contacts to prevent billing issues.
  
  
• Complete end-of-month accruals and provide monthly projections for supply costs.
  
  
• Track and reconcile all credit card purchases and receipts.
  
  
• Handle special requests for purchase orders, including gathering necessary paperwork (W-9s, COIs, etc.).
  
  

• Create, match, and receive purchase orders using the Web3 system.
  
  
• Collaborate with management to forecast supply needs for new customer launches and peak seasons.
  
  
• Track and manage inventory levels, placing new orders and reporting on stock availability and shipping delays.
  
  
• Communicate with suppliers regarding damaged goods, discrepancies, or returns.
  
  
• Analyze supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and maintain key supplier relationships.
  
  
• Schedule and coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with the relevant teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Three plus years of accounts payable and purchasing experience
• Familiarity with common office software, web-based applications, and data entry.
• College degree preferred
