We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with strong Accounts Receivable (AR) experience to join a growing team in Chesapeake, VA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking for a long-term opportunity through a temp-to-hire arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable including invoicing, billing, collections, and cash application
  
  
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  
  
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  
  
• Assist with month-end close and support accounting team as needed
  
  
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely payments
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on AR
  
  
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
  
  
• strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
