Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Manage the complete payroll cycle for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, wages, deductions, and tax withholdings. This includes processing payroll, handling employee inquiries about pay, and distributing paychecks or direct deposits.
- HR Administration: Assist with core HR functions, including maintaining accurate employee records, preparing new hire paperwork, and supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes. Also assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- Benefits & Compliance Support: Help administer employee benefits programs and ensure all payroll and HR practices are in full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain confidential employee files and use HRIS software to generate reports on payroll, employee data, and compliance metrics for management.
- Training: Provide payroll training to new and existing managers.
- Employee Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, answering questions about pay, benefits, and HR policies with a high level of customer service and discretion.
- Support both HR and accounting teams if needed
