Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lease & Property Accounting: Take ownership of all property-related financial activities, including lease accounting and maintaining precise lease schedules.
- Financial Management: Oversee the complete accounting cycle, from generating and posting journal entries to managing the general ledger and preparing financial reports.
- Reconciliation & Analysis: Lead the month-end and year-end close with a focus on accuracy. Conduct detailed reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure the integrity of financial data across all accounts.
- Cost Control: Monitor and analyze operating expenses to identify opportunities for cost savings and support the overall company budget.
- Compliance & Audits: Uphold strict compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations. Implement internal controls and provide support for all audit processes.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and reports, leveraging advanced Excel skills with tools like PivotTables, Power Query, and VBA to enhance efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with other departments on special projects aimed at continuously improving financial processes and overall departmental efficiency.
