Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, timelines, and product availability.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and address/resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Accurately enter and manage sales orders in the company system, verifying them for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with production capacity.
- Coordinate with the sales team on order changes, cancellations, or special requests, ensuring timely and error-free order processing.
- Work closely with manufacturing and production planning teams to confirm that orders align with capacity and schedules.
- Monitor production progress and communicate any potential delays to the sales team and customers, providing solutions to mitigate production or scheduling challenges.
- Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including preparing order confirmations, quotes, and customer communications.
- Keep the sales team informed of order progress and assist with internal inquiries related to production and fulfillment.
- Organize sales materials and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order history in company systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve order processing and communication between sales, production, and customers.
- Contribute to best practices for sales support and customer service to enhance overall efficiency.
